Chick-fil-A Aspen Grove
Property Description
Project Scope: Dual-Lane OMD Canopy Addition
Total Site Area: 33,000 SF
Building Size: 4,995 SF
Turnaround: 7 Weeks
Scope of Work: This project delivered a comprehensive drive-thru expansion and site reconfiguration designed to increase throughput and modernize exterior operations while maintaining the existing building footprint and occupancy.
Work began with demolition of the existing trellis and landscaping along the north side of the building, followed by construction of a new 1,620 SF Dual-Lane Outside Meal Delivery (OMD) canopy equipped with electric heaters and ceiling fans to support year-round service. A secondary exterior drive-thru lane was added to increase stacking capacity and improve vehicle circulation.
The scope required extensive civil and utility coordination, including relocation of the store transformer, installation of a new 160-foot retaining wall with pedestrian fencing, drainage modifications, and full restriping of the drive-thru. An employee walkout door was added into the drive-thru cockpit, along with installation of a mini-split system and air curtain to support interior climate control and operational efficiency.
Additional improvements included new landscaping along the north side of the site and installation of a new irrigation mainline to support the upgraded exterior layout.
Construction was carefully phased to minimize disruption while executing significant structural, utility, and circulation upgrades.
The completed project expands the drive-thru footprint, integrates structural and utility improvements, and reengineers site circulation to support higher vehicle volume and more efficient order delivery operations.
